Clients have the right to request access to or obtain a copy of their clinical records in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable Texas law. Written requests will be fulfilled within 15 business days as required by the Texas Medical Records Privacy Act, and a reasonable cost-based fee for copying or secure transmission may apply. Records may also be released directly to another provider or designated person with a signed authorization.
